Judi’s is a delightful women’s boutique located in the heart of Nevada City where Pine meets Commercial Street, right next to JJ Jackson’s. The beautiful, expanded location opened in August 2008, to rave reviews. Judi says, “We carry the kind of clothes I like to wear, comfortable, great looking and easy care.” Their unique offerings and list of pleased customers have continued to grow after moving to their expanded location. Judi and her husband Bob moved to Nevada City in 2002 from Palos Verdes in Southern California. They were looking for another way of experiencing life after Bob retired from the natural foods industry. Pine trees and four seasons were a must have; their interest in historic preservation made Nevada City the perfect fit. Judi practiced homeopathy for 10 years in Southern California before moving north and making her life change complete. Opening a women’s clothing store became an extension of Judi’s healing practice, as her belief that feeling good and having confidence in how you look can be as healing as any remedy. Judi says, “You’ve all heard of shopping therapy, try it, it works! “
